Like other versions of the LEAKSHOOTER®, the LEAKSHOOTER® V2+ IR operates as a standard camera, allowing you to film and scan your installations. When the sensor detects a leak, a dynamic target appears on the device’s screen, and the bargraph cursor at the bottom of the screen moves into the red zone.
However, this version is equipped with a 160 x 120 px thermal camera.
This LEAKSHOOTER® is equipped with a thermal camera offering three distinct color palettes: Iron, Black & White, and Rainbow. These palettes enhance visual analysis by highlighting temperature variations in different color schemes.
Additionally, the device displays the hottest and coldest points within the thermal image, providing precise temperature readings for each. For instance, in the left-hand image, the maximum temperature is 53.2°C, while the minimum is 19.6°C.
The central cursor indicates the temperature at the center of the image, allowing for focused analysis of specific areas.
Furthermore, the thermal camera’s emissivity setting is adjustable. This feature ensures accurate temperature measurements by compensating for different material surfaces, thereby preventing erroneous readings.
